Continental Transmission

Continental Transmission earned this five star rating the hard way. I brought my 2013 Cruze in after another shop confidently diagnosed the transmission on the back of StabiliTrak and traction control alerts, and told me to get it serviced ASAP. Dan and his team actually put her through a real road test, watched live scanner data, and found the truth: nothing wrong with the transmission at all. The actual problem was a cylinder 1 misfire from a failed valve cover gasket, oil pooling, and a fouled ignition coil. Separately, a water pump bolt from a prior repair elsewhere had backed out and was rubbing the drive pulley, which was the source of an intermittent whine I'd been chasing for weeks. They also caught a cracked intake snorkel that should have been flagged long before it got to them. What stood out was the process. Dan listened to my dashcam audio, asked the right questions, and didn't guess. When I laid out the full repair history on the phone, all he could say was "wow." That's the reaction of someone who actually knows what he's looking at and takes his craft seriously. My vehicle is now running better than she has in years. Better mileage, no faults, and was confirmed “

I was recommended this specific location by the best differential shop in Tonawanda. They gave me a price that was hundreds cheaper than other shops and even other continental transmission shops on top of vouching for they’re work. They had tons of cars there yet still got to work on the car right away and had it ready by the end of the week with a rebuilt transmission. The service was great and they ask you come back after a couple months to check up on everything. I have a mustang that I keep in very meticulous shape and I do not regret bringing it to them one bit. I wouldn’t trust any other shop with my car for transmission work after this.

Absolutely amazing service! Everyone was so helpful and nice. They recently completed a major repair on my car, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. They took the time to explain everything, kept me updated throughout the process, and made what was a very stressful situation so much easier for me. I highly recommend them and only have good things to say!

I cannot say enough good things about Continental Transmission. If I could give them ten stars I would. I actually broke down about 20 feet from their shop while on my way there, and they immediately stepped in, had my vehicle towed, and had me back on the road within just a few hours. The efficiency and service were unbelievable. About two years ago they replaced my transmission and torque converter. Unfortunately, the torque converter ended up being faulty and caused damage to my transmission. What impressed me most is that they completely stood behind their work and honored their warranty without hesitation. That level of integrity and customer service is rare to find these days. They were professional, honest, responsive, and made what could have been an incredibly stressful situation so much easier. I am beyond grateful for the care and support they provided. If you’re having transmission issues, there is absolutely no better place around. I highly recommend Continental Transmission. They have earned a customer for life. Thank you again!

I want to take a moment to recognize Pat and his transmission shop on Orchard Park Road in West Seneca., Continental transmission. I own Adam’s Towing and Recovery, so I’m around vehicles and repair shops every day. Because of that, I know how rare it is to find someone who is not only skilled, but also honest and dependable. My truck needed transmission work at a time when I really couldn’t afford to have it down. Pat stepped in, diagnosed the issue quickly, and got the repair done exactly when he promised. And did not take advantage of me in my time of need ,That kind of reliability means everything when your vehicle is part of your livelihood. The work was done right, the truck runs great, and the entire experience was professional from start to finish. Shops like this are getting harder to find, and it’s clear Pat takes pride in what he does and cares about his customers. If you’re looking for a trustworthy transmission shop in Buffalo or West Seneca, I can confidently say Pat is someone you want working on your vehicle. Thank you again, Pat — from Adam at Adam’s Towing and Recovery.
